1998
Foundation of BIMEC
BIMEC New Haven was established with the vision of providing support and resources to those re-entering society after incarceration, starting with our first residential facility in New Haven.
2003
First Major Grant
Received our first major grant from the Community Foundation, which allowed us to double our housing capacity and offer additional services like job training and counseling.
2010
Partnership with Local Businesses
Formed partnerships with local businesses to secure employment opportunities for our residents, significantly improving successful reintegration rates.
2018
Expansion of Facilities
Opened two more facilities in the greater New Haven area, increasing our capacity to serve over 500 residents annually with comprehensive support programs.
